There are many reasons why you may need some additional home care, from just needing a hand to get out and about or to get some of your chores done, to wanting some companionship or needing help with mobility or medical conditions.
Assistance with a “good morning” start to the day, with help to get up, wash, shower or bath, get dressed and have breakfast
Shopping support – we can either go with you or come in, agree a shopping list, go to the shops, come back and put it all away
Preparing delicious and nutritious meals
Ensuring a timely prompt for medication when it’s due
Undertaking domestic tasks such as cleaning, laundry and ironing either on a regular basis or as a “spring clean”, whatever the season.
Pampering sessions – the occasional visit to organise bathing, clean clothes, fresh bedding and a thoughtfully prepared meal before bedtime.
At the end of each day, some help with getting ready for bed.
All of these can be covered by our daily visits, which are agreed based on times that will be most helpful to you.
Whatever your requirements, we understand that each and every one of our clients will have very different needs and we work with them to team them up with the ideal Carer. We always match our Carers to our clients and while we will recommend a specific Carer for you, the final decision is yours – you choose who you want to deliver your care. We want all our clients to feel safe and comfortable with the staff who will deliver their care. That’s all part of great service delivery.
Our care packages are a minimum duration 30 minutes per day. This is provided 365 days a year. This includes Out of Hours support for staff, which can be used to clarify minor queries, or it could be used to assist staff during a client emergency.
As part of our Home Care service we also provide Palliative or End of Life care.
We understand that in many ways this is the most important care we can provide and we know the difference it can make to our clients and their families to have this support at this difficult time.
Our Palliative home care allows your loved one to stay in the place that they feel most comfortable, surrounded by those they love. Our compassionate carers provide specialist support to help with managing symptoms and symptom relief, as well as covering personal care and all other aspects of care listed above.
Our Palliative care can be provided as Home visits or as Live-in care
We provide home care in Royston and South and City Cambridgeshire.
Our Home Care services also cover at home Dementia Care, Respite Care and Palliative Care
